We start with the experience instead of asking you to sort through dozens of boats. Our team reviews the group, date, capacity, occasion or fishing mission, and requested details before matching the appropriate vessel and captain.
Do I choose the exact yacht?
Most yacht bookings begin with a size class and experience. The exact partner yacht is assigned after availability, legal guest capacity, location, and operating details are verified. When a specific yacht is expressly confirmed in writing, that written confirmation controls.
What is the Vibe Builder?
It is a private post-booking preferences form emailed after the required 50% deposit is paid. It collects music, energy, swimming plans, celebration details, content preferences, dietary needs, surprises, and fishing goals without slowing down checkout.
What is a BetterBoat Host?
An optional host can help with guest welcome, setup, food organization, music, photos, and experience flow. The host does not replace the captain or required crew and is available only on qualifying bookings.
What is the Memory Pack?
Every yacht day includes a Mini Memory Pack with phone-shot photos, vertical clips, and an instant group photo. The Premium Memory Pack, professional photography, video, and drone services remain paid upgrades.
How does pricing and the deposit work?
The booking page shows the charter subtotal, estimated tax, selected premium upgrades, the required 50% deposit, and the remaining balance. The deposit is collected through the connected WooCommerce payment gateway.
How many guests can come?
Guest limits depend on the vessel and operating arrangement, not only the boat’s length. Provide an accurate guest count so the booking can be matched to a legally suitable vessel and crew arrangement.
Are fishing gear and licenses included?
BetterBoat fishing trips are designed to include the listed rods, reels, tackle, standard bait, applicable passenger license coverage, ice, water, catch photos, and cleaning or bagging of legally retained fish when supported by the confirmed vessel.
Do you guarantee a catch or a specific fish?
No. The captain builds a realistic plan around season, conditions, safety, and opportunity, but no catch or species can be guaranteed.
What happens with bad weather or a mechanical issue?
Safety decisions belong to the captain and operator. Weather rescheduling, credits, refunds, and vessel substitutions follow the written booking terms. Better Boat Club coordinates communication and looks for a suitable backup vessel when one is available.
How do Club Benefits work?
After a qualifying completed trip, returning guests may receive promotional credits, saved preferences, referral rewards, priority access, member offers, or upgrade opportunities. Benefits can vary by season and availability.
