Weather & Marine Conditions

How safety decisions, route changes, delays, and weather-related rescheduling are handled.

Safety comes before the itinerary.

The captain and vessel operator have final authority over departure, route, speed, swimming, offshore range, and whether conditions are safe for the assigned boat and group.

Conditions can change the plan

Rain, wind, lightning, visibility, sea state, tides, marine advisories, or restricted access may result in a delayed departure, modified route, protected-water itinerary, shortened activity segment, or rescheduling discussion.

Weather decisions are not based on a single app screenshot

The operating captain may consider radar, marine forecasts, local conditions, vessel capability, guest profile, and the timing of the trip. Guests should not assume a charter is cancelled unless Better Boat Club or the operator confirms it.

Rescheduling, credits, and refunds

The written quote and booking agreement for the assigned vessel control the available remedy. Better Boat Club will communicate the operator’s decision and coordinate available rescheduling, credit, refund, or replacement-vessel options.

Fishing trips

Weather and sea conditions may change the target species, fishing area, technique, or offshore range. A safe trip with a modified plan does not create a catch guarantee.
