Booking Terms Overview
This page explains the website request process. The final quote, operator agreement, waivers, and confirmed booking documents control the charter.
Contact UsA request is not a confirmed charter.
Submitting the checkout form creates a reservation record. A trip is confirmed only after the required 50% deposit is received, availability and legal guest capacity are approved, the vessel and operating details are identified, and required documents are accepted.
Quotes and inclusions
The checkout total identifies the planned service, vessel category, duration, selected paid upgrades, tax, 50% deposit, and remaining balance. The final confirmation identifies the exact vessel and any operational details that could not be known before matching.
Vessel matching and substitution
Unless a specific vessel is expressly guaranteed in writing, Better Boat Club may coordinate a suitable vessel that meets the confirmed category, guest capacity, and experience requirements. Substitution options depend on availability and the booking terms.
Guest responsibilities
The booking customer is responsible for accurate guest information, timely arrival, guest conduct, compliance with captain instructions, and charges caused by damage, extraordinary cleaning, overtime, or prohibited conduct when provided in the applicable agreement.
Third-party operators and vendors
Captains, vessel owners, operators, marinas, transportation companies, caterers, photographers, and other vendors may provide portions of the experience under their own operating terms, limitations, and policies.
Fishing expectations
Fishing results are never guaranteed. Target species, range, method, and retained catch may change based on safety, conditions, season, applicable rules, and captain judgment.
Priority of documents
If this overview conflicts with the final written quote, charter agreement, operator terms, waiver, or add-on vendor agreement, the more specific confirmed document controls for that reservation.
